| Afrixalus fornasini |
| Afrixalus fornasini is a species of frog in the Hyperoliidae family. It is found in Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and possibly Swaziland. Its natural habitats are temperate forests, subtropical or tropical dry forests, dry savanna, moist savanna, temperate shrubland, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, temperate grassland, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, swamps, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, water storage areas, and ponds. In nature they are opportunistic feeders even preying upon the eggs and tadpoles of other frogs. In captivity they will eat crickets and other invertebrates. A well planted vivarium with high humidity and a temperature range of 70° - 85° F are required keep them healthy and happy. |
